BHbusiness Course on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Justice Populations
In collaboration with Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) and the Legal Action Center (LAC), the Center for Health and Justice at TASC has created an online course to prepare those working with justice-involved populations to leverage the opportunities of healthcare reform to reduce corrections costs, improve health, and reduce recidivism. The teams involved in this distance learning include federal, state, and local reentry organizations and healthcare providers. The course incorporates TASC’s direct experience working with partners in Illinois on ACA planning processes and implementation. This work is being funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
